About Sittercity

Sittercity, a Bright Horizons company, is a technology platform that’s reimagining the childcare industry. We aim to simplify the process of finding, hiring, and managing high-quality, trustworthy childcare. At Sittercity, you can help design and implement solutions that will transform a multi-billion-dollar industry, providing much-needed relief to parents and care providers alike.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an ambitious, creative, and operational Growth Marketing Manager (Earned & Owned) to grow reach, engagement, and subscriptions across our owned and earned channels. You’ll build the content and distribution engine for high‑performing content and product updates across channels; assign tasks to the Creative agency and freelancers to create assets for distribution; and operate an AI‑assisted content workflow with human editorial review for safety, accuracy, and brand voice.

  • Content creation & distribution calendar: Plan, create, and run the editorial + content production/distribution calendar across blog, site modules, newsletter blocks, and social; ensure every feature/seasonal moment is repackaged for impact.
  • Organic social, influencers, UGC & community: Own channels and source, vet, brief, and task influencers/creators (contracts, deliverables, timelines); run reviews/ratings and social-proof programs that increase trust and conversion. Manage content approvals, usage rights and whitelisting.
  • Influencer program ops: Maintain a lightweight pipeline for sourcing, vetting, negotiating, and contracting creators (with brand-safety checks). Standardize brief templates, content review checklists, and usage/whitelisting terms.
  • Digital PR & link earning: Plan and pitch data‑led stories (leveraging caregiver/parent insights) to secure coverage and high‑quality backlinks.
  • AI‑enabled content operations: Create prompt libraries and templates; automate content variants/repurposing; maintain human QA guardrails (brand safety, factual accuracy, voice).
  • Agency, influencer & freelancer coordination: Assign tasks to the Creative agency and brief influencers/creators with clear messaging, hooks, formats, and success metrics; set SLAs, manage timelines, and QA deliverables. Handle product seeding, offers/codes, and creator payment/usage logistics.
  • On‑site activation: Partner with Product PM to deliver on‑site assets (LP blocks, banners, microcopy) and maintain message consistency across surfaces.
  • Lifecycle & referrals (partner): Collaborate with Lifecycle (email/SMS/referral) to amplify owned assets and close the loop on measurement.
  • SEO support (partner): Coordinate with internal stakeholders on internal linking, schema‑ready content blocks, and refreshes that strengthen authority.
  • Measurement & learning loop: Define KPIs (reach→CTR→CVR→subscriptions), own UTMs, and publish weekly read-outs. Include influencer performance (view-through, code/redemption), creative learnings, and next tests.

Qualifications

  • 5–7+ years across owned/earned channels (social/community, content distribution, digital PR); marketplace or consumer services experience preferred.
  • Proven success working with agencies and freelancers: writing briefs, setting timelines/SLAs, QA, and awareness of budgets.
  • Hands‑on with GenAI content tools (prompt design, templates, guardrails) and human editorial review workflows.
  • Strong analytics and experimentation chops (UTMs, dashboards, funnel analysis); comfortable in CMS tools and basic HTML.
  • Excellent writing/editing and cross‑functional communication; calm under ambiguity, biased to action.
  • Experience sourcing, briefing, and evaluating influencers/creators; comfortable with brand-safety reviews, and usage/whitelisting basics.
  • Able to translate strategy into clear creator briefs (message, audience fit, format, CTAs, success metrics) and coach creators to on-brand outcomes.
